First Impressions: I was impressed from the start with this watch.  Everything about this watch screams quality.  From the hard case, to the look and feel of the watch, to the logo banding on the strap.  This watch has the look and feel of a very expensive deep water diver.  I was very impressed by my initial reaction to the watch.

Hard Case
:  The watch ships in this very nice hard case.  This is a true water tight case as it has an o-ring seal.  There is also a purge valve on the front of the case that would be used to flood the case to minimize the buoyancy of the case if strapped to you while diving.

The Watch:  This is a large, heavy watch.  The watch measures 48mm without the pushers and this watch wears bigger on the wrist.  It comes with a screw down crown and screw down pushers which contribute to the 2000m Water Resistance rating of this watch.  The bezel is very easy to grasp and rotates smoothly with very little play.  This presents with a 90 click bezel which seems to be a trend as several I have reviewed recently have had 90 click bezels.  The bezel aligns correctly at the 12 o'clock position.  The chronograph is not meant to be used underwater.  I find the screw down pushers a pain if you are trying to use the chrono function quickly.  However, I acknowledge that I do not use the chrono often and that this is most likely a requirement to get the WR rating that this watch has.  I like just about everything on the face of this watch except the hands.  The markers look cool and contribute to the sport feel of this watch.  The red accents also look great on this dial.  I do think the hands tend to blend into the dial and can be hard to see.  They are partially skelatilized and combined with the red accents on the dial, tend to make the hands blend in as opposed to stand out.  I think if you look at this photo you may even have to look twice to see the hour hand.

Movement:  Miyota OS20 Movement
OS20 Miyota Quartz Watch Movement is a Multi-Function Chronograph movement. 3 Hand movement (hour/minute/sweep second) with 3 indicators at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. Indicators show 24 hour, minutes and seconds. Calendar window at the 4:30 o'clock position. 13 1/2 ligne movement 30.80mm x 5.10mm thick, 0 jewels, uses 395 battery. Hand dimensions are 120/70/17/26 (h/m/s/indicators). Stem use part number 065-453 (tap 0.90mm / tap 10).
