"The inspiration for the new Nevon was our desire to bring to you the style and dependability of a vintage high end dive watch. The Nevon inherits the Flieger MN’s case body but is stretched to a more substantial 43mm case that holds in its 316L stainless steel heart the venerable Miyota 8215 automatic movement. Stark white super luminova filled hands and markers set atop an ink Dark Matte makes for a modern day classic."

First Impressions & Thoughts:
The watch is packaged really well.. case and bracelet are thick and chunky.. very well executed for the price point.. the dial color is really nice- a dark blue-green. handset is fantastic.. bezel is tight and fingerprints up pretty easily, but very satisfying clicks for sure.. very positive grip on the bezel but a bit sharp on the edges.. enough links in the bracelet to fit a 9"+ wrist right out of the box:
Non Crown Side:
The 9 O'clock side of the case shows the blasted finish nicely. You'll also notice the lug bars are screwed and require 2 screwdrivers (not included) to remove. You'll also notice from this shot, that the end links are solid.. very solid.

Case, Dial, Hands and Bezel:
The case shape is very simple and reminds me a bit of the Halios Holotype but with the hooded lugs stretched a bit more, which yields a more shapely case.

The no-date dial on this model is a beautiful, rich blue-green, reminds me of the color of the ocean here in the
Gulf of Maine in wintertime. There has been much written on various fora about the amount of text on the Obris Morgan dials, and I was expecting an obnoxious amount of text on the Nevon. This is simply not the case. The text on the dial is well executed, with fonts you don't see on other watches. It is small enough that it doesn't detract from the aesthetic value of the dial and IMO it balances the dial nicely.
The handset selection was spot-on for this model- nice retro feel that is simple and easy to see. One of the nicest features of this watch, and i consider handset selection to be one of- if not the- most important aspect of a watch design.

The bezel has also become a bit of a topic of discussion in numerous threads over several fora, but I like the clean, uncluttered look. The pip is big and easy to see. Unfortunately on my example, the pip does not line up neatly with the 12 o'clock marker, but with a lack of a minute track and the thick, vertical rehaut (metal spacer between dial and crystal) it's not noticeable unless you're staring at it head on with one eye closed.
Case Back:
The screw down case back is very simple with a circular brushed surface, Obris Morgan logo (blasted), the reference number and 316L Stainless Steel printed.

Strap/Buckle or Bracelet/Clasp:
The 5 link bracelet is perhaps the most substantial bracelet I've ever seen in person. At a whopping 5mm thick, there is no doubt you're wearing this watch. The bracelet has a similar look as the Engineer/Watchadoo but each link is a 6 sided trapezoid shape and has a real industrial feel to it. End links are solid and fixed with screw bars. My only gripe with this setup is in strap changes- 2 flat head screwdrivers are needed and this can be cumbersome.
The clasp is a pretty basic, stamped, push button affair with fold over safety and 3 micro adjustments. There is no wetsuit extension. I found that fitting the watch to my 8.25" wrist was fairly easy with a single link removed and using one of the 3 micros. The wildly fluctuating temps here in Maine have me adjusting the micro several times per day, but that is par for the course with any bracelet with me.
